Case

Concierge’s founder, Marsha, came to me under her previous brand name. Her business had taken off in a few short months, and with big goals in mind for the future of her brand, she knew she needed a solid foundation to grow upon. With a vision for a global brand that helped escrow officers find qualified, highly-competent mobile notaries in their area, she knew she needed a strong brand identity that not only looked professional but also established her brand values, positioning, and attributes from square one.

Strategy

Marsha’s background in investment banking and the food and beverage industry meant she knew the importance of treating clients with the utmost of care, and with a recent career in real estate, she’d seen firsthand the headaches that come from entrusting critical signing documents with an incompetent notary public.

Our strategy became focused on establishing brand values of care, competence, the highest levels of professionalism, and deep trust with her clients. The core message of Concierge Signing Service is that it only hires the most qualified notaries who take part in a thorough vetting process to ensure they perform their role efficiently and professionally. The brand’s cornerstone is its promise that their notaries treat their clients’ signers as if they are their own clients: concerned with more than ensuring successful signings, they care about treating the signer with the utmost respect.

Brand Visual Identity Design

The visual identity came easily from this strong strategy: a professional, understated, yet elegant visual brand identity that communicates competence and care.

The primary icon is the combination key/pen icon, which combines the idea of a hotel concierge service, a homeowner’s key, and a pen to represent signing services. This combination communicates the brand’s values of care, service, and professionalism in a memorable, simple, and unforgettable mark.

Squarespace Website Development

After the visual identity design, we carried the brand into a custom website built on Squarespace, with custom copywriting in the brand voice that communicates Concierge’s values, positioning, and services to the right audience.

Brand Photography

Marsha also needed custom photography of her interactions with clients to portray a warm, personable feel as well as a high-end look that stock photography simply can’t give a brand. We shot on-site on several locations with models and with Marsha herself, ensuring her photography reflects her brand and feels at home with the rest of her visual identity.
